Welcome! I’m so happy you are here! Let’s get to know each other. This is a little about me…
I am a wife, and mother of two amazing little humans. I am a Canadian but currently live in Antalya, Türkiye.
I have been working with children for over 20 years in a variety of settings, cultures, and learning environments. I have a passion for teaching and connecting with children. I enjoy creating games and activities that are full of invisible teaching moments. When children learn with a smile on their face and a giggle in their tummy, I know I have reached my goal.
While I love connecting with children, I can also work with adults from all language levels to improve their skills too. I have a well-rounded skill set that can benefit all ages.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropolgy. I likewise have taken English Literature and Linguistics to supplement my degree. This is where my love for English all started, back in University! I have also completed my Master 140 hour TEFL course with distinction. I believe that learning is an on-going process and that there’s always room for more growth, so I continue to learn, upgrade and understand new learning pedagogy as often as possible.
Some things that fuel my soul are photography, travel, foreign cultures, phonics and animals. I am an Anthropologist at heart and am my happiest exploring ancient ruins in and around the beautiful country of Türkiye. I’m so happy you’re here and can’t wait to support you in your English transformation!
